Roland is a technology partner responsible for leading digital and analytics in the firm’s energy sector practice. With more than 25 years of experience, he has led large-scale transformations for some of the largest energy firms. Focused on innovation and growth, Roland has held president, director, and founder roles for various firms in the energy and technology field. He holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) program.

Arlene is currently a 2024 fellow in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University. She recently retired from a 20 year career at Suncor where she held various leadership positions, including as General Counsel, Chief Sustainability Officer, Corporate Secretary and Chair of the Inclusion and Diversity Council. She brings experience in sustainability leadership in the energy sector to her role as an advisory board director at Portage. She also holds an LLB and MA in political science from the University of British Columbia, as well as a BA in Business Administration from Trinity Western University.
Aidan Richardson

Is a co-founder and board director at Portage Energy Group. Aidan specializes in business development at Kingston Midstream, a Canadian midstream infrastructure company with pipeline operations and petroleum marketing activities in Western Canada. Prior to joining Kingston Midstream, Mr. Richardson was Vice President of Engineering at Katal Energy Inc., having begun his career as a production engineer at Birchcliff Energy. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (BASc) degree in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University, is a registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford. Mr. Richardson currently serves on the boards of Valent Low-Carbon Technologies Corp. and the Trans Canada Trail Foundation.

Craig is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Portage Energy and is responsible for strategic direction, vision and leadership. He previously founded Katal Energy Inc. and co-founded Aeon Future Health, Spira Data Corp., and ZayZoon Inc. He serves on private boards and The Missing Children’s Society of Canada's national board. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary.

Stephen is a co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Portage Energy and is responsible for engagements with airlines, governments, and aviation stakeholders. Formerly at CrossBoundary and Goldman Sachs, he specialized in sustainable financing and risk management. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire and an MBA from the University of Oxford.

Mike is a co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at Portage Energy and is responsible for our project lifecycle development and project execution. Previously, he spent 20 years at Suncor, in various leadership roles including project management, engineering and digital transformation. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at Portage Energy and is responsible for leading the financial operations as well as corporate and project financing activities. Mike draws from a diverse corporate experience including start-up ventures to senior roles at multinational corporations. Mike’s prior experience includes commodity trading, business development, corporate finance, mergers and acquisition and strategic planning. Mike attended the University of Manitoba where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce. Mike also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Quintin Ings-Chambers

Quintin Ings-Chambers is a Partner and Head of Brown Advisory’s International Private Client and Charity business, based in London. He has over 25 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in 2012, Quintin served as an Investment Director at SG Hambros following a partial acquisition of Baring Asset Management, where he was a Director in the Private Client and Charity group. Prior to that he spent ten years at Rensburg Sheppards. During his career, he has managed money for both private and institutional clients and charities.
Quintin is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI, has a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from BPP and holds a BTh (Hons) Oxon. from Westminster College, Oxford.
